Flying with CFG
We offer-
"Introductory Flying Lesson" flights. A local flight in a Tiger Moth of approximately 30 minutes, which includes hands on experience and counts towards your Private Pilots Licence if you continue.
Tuition to gain a Private Pilots Licence. Yes! learn to fly from scratch on a Tiger Moth biplane.
Conversions: For adventurous spam can flyers in need of enlightenment or experience we offer Tiger Moth differences training to qualify you to fly our Tiger Moths solo.
Aerobatics and Formation Flying: We have instructors qualified to teach aerobatics and formation flying to those who want to see the world from a different perspective!
Club Flying: Support from an active group of Tiger Moth instructors and pilots with a busy programme of local flying and adventures further away, including an annual trip to France, a Vintage Air Tour and visits to fly-ins.
All pilots must be current members of the Group.
To fly solo a pilot must be have been checked out by an instructor within the previous 28 days.
Current flying rates £159.60 dual, £145.20 solo.
CFG Annual Flying membership £150.
We operate Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am until dusk (3-4pm in winter, 5-6pm in summer).
