Flying with CFG

We offer-

"Introductory Flying Lesson" flights. A local flight in a Tiger Moth of approximately 30 minutes, which includes hands on experience and counts towards your Private Pilots Licence if you continue.

Tuition to gain a Private Pilots Licence. Yes! learn the stick and rudder skills required to fly a Tiger Moth biplane. (It's easy then to progress to flying more modern aeroplanes, and we can teach this too).

Conversions: For those who have already gained a PPL on more modern aircraft we offer Tiger Moth taildragger differences training needed to fly our Tiger Moths.  You'll find your overall flying skills improve too!

Aerobatics and Formation Flying: We have instructors qualified to teach aerobatics and formation flying to those who want to see the world from a different perspective!

IMC Rating: We can teach basic instrument flying using a modern Fuji aircraft available to group members.

Club Flying: Support from an active group of Tiger Moth instructors and pilots with a busy programme of local flying and adventures further away, including an annual trip to France, a Vintage Air Tour and visits to fly-ins.
